We learned today that the Government of Alberta asked the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) to suspend its review process of the Critical Transmission Infrastructure (CTI) projects, AltaLink’s Western Alberta Transmission Line and ATCO’s Eastern Alberta Transmission Line.
We look forward to understanding the process that will be undertaken to conduct the review, and we will participate accordingly.
AltaLink continues to work on several other transmission projects across Alberta. Like these projects, the Western Alberta Transmission Line will ensure a reliable electric system that connects all Albertans to the lowest price power available.
