To connect SPWC Development GP Inc.’s (SPWC) Willow Ridge Wind and Battery
project to the grid, AltaLink is proposing three changes to accommodate the connection of SPWC’s project to the electricity grid,
including:

• constructing approximately 150 metres of new 240 kilovolt (kV) transmisson line
  (to be named 968AL)
• modifying one existing structure on AltaLink’s 967L/968L transmission line
• installing approximately 550 metres of optical grounding wire (OPGW) on the
  967L/968L transmission line and new 968AL transmission line

The project is located in the MD of Willow Ridge, approximately eight kilometres south of
Fort Macleod.
