AltaLink is proposing to add new equipment to its existing Lacombe Substation and replace aging equipment to ensure a reliable supply of
electricity is available in the area for years to come. The project is located in Lacombe County, approximately eight kilometres east of Lacombe.

The proposed project will include:

• Replacing one transformer
• Removing and salvaging equipment that is no longer needed
• Minor additional substation equipment upgrades
