To accommodate the City of St. Albert’s (the City) municipal developments, AltaLink
is proposing to relocate a portion of an existing 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line
called 747L. The project is located in the City of St. Albert, south of Highway 633 in
NW-6-54-25-W4.

As part of this project, AltaLink is proposing changes to the 747L transmission line,
including:

• relocating approximately 700 metres of the existing transmission line along
  a different proposed route
• removing and salvaging approximately 700 metres of existing transmission
  line
