To connect Acciona Energy Canada Global Inc. (ACCIONA Energía’s) solar project to the grid, AltaLink is proposing changes to its transmission system. The project is located approximately eight kilometres southwest of the Hamlet of Torrington.

AltaLink is proposing to construct up to 17 kilometres of new 240 kilovolt (kV) transmission line to be named 929AL. The new transmission line will connect ACCIONA Energía’s proposed Lone Butte 1801S Substation to AltaLink’s existing 929Ltransmission line.
