To connect the TC Energy Berland River Project to the grid, AltaLink is proposing changes to its transmission system in the area.

AltaLink’s proposed project is located approximately 25 kilometres (km) south of the Town of Fox Creek.

AltaLink’s proposed project includes:

• building a new substation
• building approximately 55-60 km of new 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line
• building a new 138 kV switching station
• installing new telecommunications equipment
